The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers $3 Million in Renovations by Year End 2009 | Boston Hotel

By year-end of 2009, The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers will have completed just over $3 million in Hotel and Guest Room renovations.

2009 Guest Room Renovations include: New flat screen plasma televisions in all Guest Rooms & Suites on the Towers Level Concierge Floor (15^th Floor) and new furniture in the Garden Suite.

2009 Hotel Renovations include: a new curb-side entrance on the Columbus Avenue side of this Boston Hotel, over $500K in energy efficiency upgrades (water and electric), an organic herb rooftop garden and a new Smoke Guard System on all Guest floors to prevent smoke from entering elevators in the event of a fire.

In 2008, $5 Million in Renovations included: New Simmons Beautyrest Mattresses and bedding, new replacement carpeting, new custom wood headboards and 10 additional ADA rooms. New ADA rooms offer wheelchair accessibility, roll-in showers and accessible furniture, bringing our current total of ADA accessible Guest Rooms to 56. Hotel renovations included new carpeting throughout our Boston Hotel’s public areas.
