Summer Reading Package

ReadBoston is a nonprofit children’s literacy program founded by Mayor Thomas M. Menino. Our mission is to have all children in Boston reading at grade level by the end of the third grade. We work with childcare and early education centers, Boston Public Schools, after-school programs and many nonprofits and community-based organizations, to create sustainable literacy programs and practices. Our multi-faceted approach includes a strong coaching and professional development component to provide the staff and sites with a solid literacy foundation.

Package Rate:  

June 1 – June 30, 2008: $249.00
July 1 – September 13, 2008: $199.00

Package Includes:

• An overnight stay at the elegant Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers
• $30 discount on the package rate when a children’s book is donated at check-in

Terms & Conditions

• Package is subject to availability, black-out dates may occur.
• Taxes not included in rate.
• Maximum length of stay is one night.
• One book discount per guestroom.
• Must provide children's book at check-in.
• Books must be children’s books (age’s birth - 5th grade).
• New books preferred.
• Books with torn bindings, pages or covers will not be accepted.
• Books with writing in excess of a name or dedication on the front inside cover will not be accepted.
• Books with excessive yellowed pages that are deemed inappropriate or contain questionable content will not be accepted.
• We will not accept books with religious titles, magazines, encyclopedias or library discards.
