Boston is an active city year-round. From winter skating on The Boston Common Frog Pond to sunny afternoons at Fenway Park and everything in between, there is always something to do to enjoy our surroundings. One of the oldest outdoor sporting traditions in Boston is golfing.
The history of golf in Boston is nearly 150 years old and The County Club, founded in nearby Brookline in 1882, is one of the country’s oldest courses. It has hosted 17 USGA national championships including the 2022 US Open, when Mark Fitzpatrick edged out Will Zalatoris and 2022 Masters Champion Scottie Scheffler to win by just one stroke.

Opened in 1922, this ‘sleeper’ course is a stately fourth generation owned golf club just a 30-minute drive from Boston Park Plaza. Its traditional Ross design will test both professionals and amateurs alike. The Par 72, 6,427-yard course is a great walk, but carts are available.
Located in the town of Quincy, just 25 miles south of Boston, this delightful and quirky par 70, 5,700-yard course was named in honor of President Adams who hails from the town. Though a shorter course, the small greens will test even the best players.
